- We are not ready on security: wallet keys, prompt injection, and billing fraud will be nightmare fuel.
- Economics will push us there anyway — agents renting GPUs and APIs without a human in the loop each time.
- Crypto adds friction; normal payment rails with hard spending caps might come first.
- Enterprises will ban autonomous spend; consumers might experiment in games and trading bots.
- We need identity, audit logs, and kill switches before this is anything but a demo.
- It could reduce platform lock-in if agents shop on price — also increases attack surface.
- Regulators have not caught up; builders will ship first and apologize with incident reports.
- I do not want my agent tipping another agent without me seeing a human-readable receipt.
- Long term it is inevitable; short term it is a toy for people who enjoy chaos.
